Hey guys today I’m coming at you with the Reader Problems book tag. I had a free moment to work on my blog so I thought I would catch up on some posts with a book tag. You can find the original tag here!
01 You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
Honestly, I don’t think I could ever have that many books on my tbr shelf, I usually try and keep it under 90 so this is already hurting my head. Honestly, the whole point of me having a small tbr is that it isn’t a big deal to find my next read – I just find an interesting genre and then I know there are a few books for me to choose from in that pile.
02 You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
QUIT. I AM OUTTA THERE M8
03 The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?
Lol my reading challenge is 1 book. No, but seriously if I ever needed to catch up I would just grab some small books, plus a bunch of comics and graphic novels. Also, audiobooks are a great help in this situation.
04 The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?
I don’t. I really can’t handle this kind of situation. #firstworldproblems
05 Every one and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
Honestly, I might write a blog post about it or just a GoodReads review but I rarely bond over my books with anyone. I will probably rant to my friends about it but yeah… no bonding.
06 You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
Lots of blinking. But I tend not to brave sad books in public, so I’ll be fine (I think).
07 A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!?
What’s the point in reading it if you remember nothing. If you loved the first book so much then re-reading it shouldn’t be an issue.
08 You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
I just tell them no – because only my friends ask and they really should know better.
09 Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?
Lot’s of sleep. Watch some TV. Do some blogging to get the right vibe. Calm down. Repeat.
10 There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
Probably none. The library is my home now and I rarely (1/100) buy new releases.
11 After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
Ebooks – honestly it’s a mixed bad, they could be there for 5 minutes or they could be there for a couple of years.
Physical – Library books get read immediately but I’m more relaxed with my own books, that being said I always go in wanting to read them immediately. So, again, mixed bag.
Audio – it’s the same as ebooks, it depends what mood I’m in
