What’s that? I’m on holiday so I can read as many big books as I want? Hell yeah I can!
Dates: 07 April – 20 April (Midnight)
CHALLENGES:
01 Read more than one tome.
02 Read a graphic novel.
I don’t know if this actually counts but I currently have out four trades from the Amazing Spider-Man: Worldwide comic series so if you put them together and pretend they’re a collection they form a tome? I don’t know, honestly, I’m here to read not complete challenges.
Volume 1: 144, Volume 2: 136, Volume 3: 136, Volume 4: 112. All up it comes to 498 pages.
03 Read a tome that is part of a series.
I have so many 450 page books out from the library and I really want to read The Search For Wandla (480 words) but that’s not a tome so excuse me while I try and find a book not written by a Brandon Sanderson.
Consequences: Opal & Origin (Lux #3-4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I’m really not in the mood for a complex Sanderson Novel *cue shocked gasping* so I’m going to read something easy, I’ve read the first bind up twice so far but haven’t made it to the next books yet. Thumbs crossed I’ll ge to it this time!
807 pages
04 Buddy read a tome.
I’m not really a fan of buddy reads, especially because this readathon is only a week long so I won’t be doing this challenge.
05 Read an adult novel
A Storm of Swords: Blood and Gold (A Song of Ice And Fire #3.2) by George R.R. Martin
I read part one of this book earlier in the year and I’ve been meaning to get to it since but just haven’t had the time. I’ve really piled a lot on with this TBR but if I can at least just read this I’ll be happy.
