6 Books I Wish I Read in 2016 | Bookmas Day 6!

01 A Storm of Swords – George R. R. Martin

I’ve read the first two novels in this series and if I’m honest I’m not totally sure whether or not I will actually continue this series. It’s a long time between books there are soo many pages and I don’t feel any particular connection to the characters or plot that really makes me want to read the books.

02 Consequences (Books 3 & 4) – jennifer L. Armentrout

I reread the first bind up in this series earlier this year and said that I would read the rest of the books later in the year. Of course, I didn’t! I do really want to read the next books next year, though so I can finally finish off the series and find out how it all ends.

03 Winger – Andrew Smith

This book was a big hit a couple of years ago and I don’t know of anyone who didn’t like this novel. I’ve had this novel for a year or two and for some reason I just haven’t picked this one up. Also, it’s LGBT so naturally it’s higher up on my TBR list.Β One day (hopefully in the next year or two) I will pick it up.

04 Magnus Chase & The Sword of Summer – Rick Riordan

I’ve mentioned this series on a lot of my posts lately but hey, I really do want to read it! I did mean to pick this novel up earlier this year, but as my schedule got busier and school got more demanding (I decided out of nowhere to do a hospitality course in April and make my life harder) I sort of forgot about a lot of books I had been planning on reading and just picked up whatever looked good on the shelves at the library!

05 You – Caroline Kepnes

In 2015 this book was all the rage and it was on the very top of my list so when a friend bought it for me for Christmas I was ecstatic! Naturally, as is with the majority of books I receive in bulk (because what bookworm doesn’t get heaps of books for xmas?) I only got to a few of the books and You is still sitting there waiting, unread on my bookshelf.

06 The Screaming Staircase – Β Jonathan Stroud

I know this series has at least 4 or 5 books in the series already so I want to try and at east read the first novel to see how I like it. I don’t know too much about the series, just that it’ paranormal and I feel like it involves ghosts but that might just be because I just watched Ghostbusters.
