01 The Final Empire – Brandon Sanderson
I read a library copy of this last month and LOVED it! It’s a great high fantasy, I would recommend it to anyone. (I also want to buy the rest of the trilogy)
02 Sleeping Giants – Sylvain Neuvel
This book looks AWESOME and I’ve heard great things!
03 I Hate Fairyland Volume 1 – Skottie Young & Jean-François Beaulieu
I’ve heard great things and honestly just look at that cover! This is about a girl who gets stuck in her body and eventually goes insane and kills everyone she sees.
04 Orange: The Complete Collection 1 – Ichigo Takano
Again, I’ve heard amazing things. I’ve never read a manga and I’ve heard this is a good one to start with.
05 Young Avengers Volume 2 – Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie & Kate Brown
I read volume 1 a few months ago and thought it was brilliant so I’d really like to continue this trilogy.

I would definitely recommend starting with the mistborn trilogy and if you’re worried about the size of the novels, try listening to the audiobooks!
