So, I’m currently stuck at home (I’m definitely not complaining, I’m happy to do whatever I can to keep people safe!) but because I’m not working or travelling to and from Uni, I suddenly have A LOT of extra time in my life, so I figured why not make a book tag? And a relevant one? I hope you guys enjoy this one and maybe it helps you take your mind off things for a second! Enjoy!
Oh my God, everything is happening at the moment and I am loving it! Rick Riordan (the man HIMSELF) recently announced that the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is going to be adapted into a tv series on Disney+ and I am super excited about it! This is one of my favourite childhood series of all time, and I know I’ll still be reading it well into the future, so picture me in 20 years having a mid-life crisis and still reading Percy Jackson! Also, oh my god Becky Riordan just dropped some hints about “beginning another journey with Percy” and I am STRESSED!
So, I love Percy Jackson, it’s getting a tv series, Becky is stressing me the f out, I’m currently re-reading the series with the lovely Destiny @ Howling Libraries and now May has created a tag based on my absolute favourite characters and I AM LIVING!
*This tag is spoiler-free and has no plot hints or anything like that, so you can do it if you haven’t read all or any of the books!Continue reading “MAY MADE A PJO AND HOO BOOK TAG AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH 😍😍😍 | aka. The PJO/HoO Character Book Tag”
So… is anyone actually surprised??? I love Percy Jackson so there was no way I was going to miss out on an entire readathon based around Percy and the gods! I recently did the test to see who my “Godly Parent” would be and I got Poseidon and I’m honestly not surprised because I’ve always felt like he represented me best, though I do feel like it’s kind of like getting Gryffindor in a HP quiz 🤷♀️.
You can find out more about the readathon here.
Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! This year I’ve been focusing on getting to know other bloggers in our bookish community and right now I think it’s more important than ever to be staying positive and engaging with each other online, so today I’m interviewing Sofia @ A Book A Thought!
I loved getting to know Sofia more through reading her answers to my questions! She’s such a fun personality and I cant’ wait for you all to get to know her too!
Here are some of Sofia’s most recent blog posts if you’re curious to see what she writes about!Continue reading “Meet Sofia! // Allonsy Blogger Interviews”
Okay, so June is going to be a mess. I both want to focus on relaxing since school *just* finished for the trimester. I am literally submitting my last assignment as we speak! But, I also want to make an effort to use this time to read and catch up on movies, so I’m sure this means I’ll burn out and do neither of those things! 😂
This month my main goal is just to continue and potentially finish my re-read of the Harry Potter series since I’ve *finally* finished school and have that time back! But, because I’ll be reading those on my Kindle and making notes and highlights, I figure I’ll need some audiobooks to tide me over too, so I’m hoping to continue reading the Shadowhunters books because I’m still pretty behind! I usually have a much more extensive tbr but this month, for me is really more about finishing up with the harry potter series and trying to figure out if it’s worth going back to uni next month or not!
That being said, I do have a few buddy reads planned for this month and I am challenging myself again to read 100 pages every day, so who knows what will happen with my reading this month! 🤷♀️
Me: this month my tbr is gonna be small, I’m going to relax!
Also me: *puts 11 books on my tbr*
Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m showing you all the book I read in May
If March felt like the longest month I’ve ever lived through, and April flew by in a few days then May
My goal this month was low-key to hit at least 20 reads and also to read big books and I’d say I well and truly did that as most of the books I read were over 400 pages and also wow I read a lot this month! I think I’m going to try and slow it down next month so I don’t burn myself out but wow, I don’t know what my wrap up will look like next month because I officially will have no Uni assignment to submit so I’ll… just be reading??? An insane concept tbh.
Also, excuse me if thi spost looks a little bit shaky, I’m still getting used to the new WP editor. I’m not liking it at all so it’s taking me a while to get used to it and understand it!Continue reading “MAY WRAP UP 📚 | I went from reading every day to an assessment-induced reading slump!”
Hi all! Welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my June bullet journal spread!
Also a quick caveat – I’m not blessed with any artistic talent and my journal is purely for helping me through the year and I’m using it more to keep myself accountable throughout the year. So, excuse the basic spreads but I’m proud of them!
Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Everyone is talking about Percy Jackson at the moment because of the news about the Disney+ series! + May even recently created a non-spoiler book tag based on the characters in the PJO/HoO series! I’m also currently in the midst of re-reading Rick Riordan’s mythological series with my friend Destiny! I
Anywayyy, so because of the exciting news about the show, I’ve seen a lot of people getting back into the Riordan-Verse and asking how to read all the books. So, I figured since I have read all but the last couple of books in the Trials of Apollo series, why not help everyone out and let y’all know how you can dive into Riordan’s series without getting confused!Continue reading “THE RIORDAN-VERSE READING ORDER | FROM PERCY JACKSON TO THE TRIALS OF APOLLO + COMPANION NOVELS | Series Order? Chronological? Pub Order? Where To Start!”
