Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! Long time no see! I took an unexpected hiatus away from my blog for a few months because of uni but school is officially over for the year so I finally have the time to blog again, so if you see me forgetting to post please feel free to yell at me!
I thought I’d take it slow getting back into the bloggin groove so today I’m just showing you everything i currently have on hold at the library. I’m a big advocate for using the libraries in my city so I pretty much always have at least 5-10 books or dvds on hold at any time so I was thinking of making this a monthly to bi-monthly series. Let me know if this is something you’d be interested in seeing from me!
Hey friends, welcome back to my blog! I’m sorry I haven’t been around as much lately, I’ve been swamped with school work but I’m hoping that will change in the next few weeks!
I don’t have any crazy plans for the month unfortunately! I still have school for the next week and then I dive straight into the GraphicsAthon! So, if I’m honest, most of my plans just consist of goingg as nuts as I possibly can and reading as many graphic novels as I can until I can’t read anymore and the readathon ends!#
It’s that time of year folks! Uni is just about finished for the term (until I go back at the end of the month…) so you know what that means! It’s time to read as much as humanly possible in the short time frame made available to me by the Higher Education Overlords!
And if you have no idea what I’m talking about – Destiny, Rebecca and I have brought back the GraphicsAthon for a second round and to say that I’m excited would be an understatement! I tried to really branch out with some of my tbr choices for this round, but in doing so I may have doomed myself because I officially have 36 reads in my tbr stack sitting on my desk… whoops?
You can find my announcement post for the readathon here, and you can follow the official Twitter for the readathon here.
So… September. What can I say about September? I was in a bit of a weird life funk this month. I had a tonne of work to do for uni, I was planning a readathon, trying to find a job, in a pseudo-reading slump and all while being my super anxious self… it was an experience, I’ll tell you that for free.
What’s new with me?
You’ve all probably seen the announcement by now, as well as my life update post, but just in case you haven’t I’ll talk about it again here!
In October, a few friends and I will be hosting our second round of the GraphicsAthon; a readathon dedicated to reading manga, graphic novels and comics. It runs from the 11th to the 19th so come join us! You can find the announcement post here, and find us on Twitter over here.
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Destiny, Rebecca and I are all hosting the GraphicsAthon during October so we figured we’d each write our own recommendations blog posts to go along with our Google Doc of recommendations for the readathon!
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my official announcement for ROUND TWO of THE GRAPHICS-ATHON which is a little readathon Destiny and I hosted earlier this year and LOVED so we’ve decided to bring it back again for a second round! And this round we also have a new host joining us, our friend Rebecca from BookishlyRebecca!
So… what is the Graphics-Athon?
This is a really chill readathon where the aim is just to read anything with images as the main storytelling device! So, any manga, comics or graphics novels count – anything with graphics!
Hi all! Welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my August bullet journal spread!
Also a quick caveat – I’m not blessed with any artistic talent and my journal is purely for helping me through the year and I’m using it more to keep myself accountable throughout the year. So, excuse the basic spreads but I’m proud of them!
August was a suprisingly good month for me reading-wise and I read a few new favourites so I’m hoping to continue that trend this month! I have a few buddy reads and a few 2020 releases on my tbr + I’ll be house sitting for some friends again this month so I’ve got my fingers and my toes crossed that I’ll be able to get a decent amount of reading done while I’m there!
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m coming at you with my August wrap up! This month started off really strong and I read some new favourites that I absolutely loved but I also had a fair bit of assessment towards the end of the month so my reading and watching really tapered off towards the backend of the month.
Overall, August was a good month, if not a little bit stessful towards the end, so now I’m really excited to see what I read or watch in September!
Also, for anyone curious, I host the GraphicsAThon with Destiny and round 2 will be taking place October 11-19th so you can look forward to an announcement for that soon!
